I tried to type this exactly as it was on the original including the different spellings of the name Ritchey. Will of Adam Ritchey In the name of God, Amen. I, Adam Richey of Providence Township, Bedford County, and State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body but of sound mind, this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First principally and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the hands of God who gave it, and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life. I give and dispose of the same in the following manner vis: I order and it is my will that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid and adjusted as soon as possible after my decease-I give and devise the old farm on which I reside containing about two hundred acres to my two sons Daniel and Jacob to be equally divided between them as they may deem proper, but the said Jacob shall have ten acres out of the old patented tract including his Fanyard to be included in his equal share of said equal division the said land I valued at two hundred and seventy five pounds the amount of which shall be equally divided between my children namely, Eve Weaverlin, Susann Jemison, Henry, John, Daniel, Jacob, and Michael- And as to my beloved wife Catharine it is my will that she be plentifully supported by my sons Daniel and Jacob during her natural life to remain in the mansion house if she thinks proper and retain all the house hold furniture, and two cows during her life, after which said furniture shall be used as my sons Daniel and Jacob may think proper and lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved and trusty sons Daniel and Jacob Executors of this my will hereby revoking all other wills legacies and bequests by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament.
